I wanted to
take the time to HIGHLY recommend a hauler I used from your
site (www.travelinghorse.com) PRAIRIECREEK PERFORMANCE HORSES
& TRANSPORT.
I cannot say enough great things about these guys!! John
was very informative and patient with me in setting up a
trip for three ARABIAN horses that had never been in a trailer.
Mike Brooks was the hauler for John, and what a terrific
horseman!! My horses were catered to, and I couldn't have
found a better hauler out there! The equipment they used
was top notch. The care my horses received...amazing! I
even called Mike up after midnight, to check up on my girls
en route, as there were tornados in the area. I woke him
up...and not a complaint! He kept me informed all along
the way! These guys love horses and what they do! You WON'T
be disappointed!!! I would use them again, without hesitation!!!
If you want a top notch hauler...use PRAIRIECREEK!

Post from
Yahoo Group
Y'all might remember
me as I recently posted a request to haul a yearling colt
from MO to OK. Well, I found a wonderful shipper (best one
yet--he will be the one I will use from now on) based out
of Oklahoma, and he did exactly what he said he would do
and when he said he would do it (at a VERY reasonable price
no less). Please forgive this rather long post, but I just
have to let everyone know about him!
The end result is he brought my colt home healthy and happy
and in a very reasonable amount of time! His trailer was
bedded down with several inches of good shavings (CLEAN),
the trailer was very safe (Sundowner) and clean itself,
and my colt didn't have a mark on him. The shipper had trouble
trying to unload him to offload another horse (for some
reason my colt didn't want to get out, lol!) but he didn't
do things to my colt that other less scrupulous shippers
might, he just worked around him. He was very patient while
waiting for him to unload at my property as well, and I
just think he is a great guy. He is genuinely interested
in the horses, their safety & well-being, and I can
tell he really and truly LIKES them as well.
AND, another thing he did (free of charge) was meet me about
45 min or so (really I think it was out of his way) away
from his base early yesterday morning in order for me to
give him the balance owed on the colt so he could come home
(he took it to the seller for me)--this was something he
did NOT have to do, but he was so nice and helped me out
so much that I will remember that!
I would
recommend him to EVERYONE!

a Yahoo Message Posting:
Please be sure
to add John Wilhite and Prairiecreek to the links for horse
transport for your groups. I have personally met John and
rode the "highway" with him and can personally
attest to his love and care for the horses he transports.

John,
We have not met, as of yet. But you met my wife Jennifer,
when you picked up our girls from Gulf Port after the hurricane
and transported them to Western New York. Well Jenn and
I would like to thank you again for treating our girls as
if they were your own. Especially Tina, our overo paint
who was in foal.
We are pleased to announce the birth of KATY. She came into
the world about 3 weeks early and the coldest day of the
winter. She is doing great.
On a very sad note, after 12 days Tina passed away, ( Torsion
Colic ) Twisted Gut. We have spent the last few days mourning.
But now it's time to, as Jenn says (pull up our muck boots
and get down to the business of living ). Katy is doing
very well.
We have enclosed a couple of pics. We hope they bring a
smile to you and yours, as they do us. Every chance we get,
we tell people who transported our girls.
Many Thanks
Bill & Jenn

As a breeder
of Foundation Morgan horses I found myself in the position
of needing horse transport often for stock coming to me
and stock that had been sold and needed to be transported
to their new homes. I had gone through a string of horse
transporters none of whom I felt comfortable recommending,
at my wits end I happened to ask a fellow Morgan
horse breeder if she knew anyone who was reliable and was
told that Prairie
Creek Performance Horses and Transport was the only way
to go she had used
them multiple times and she trusted them without reservation.
It all sounded
to good to be true as the people I had been dealing with
were far from a shining review like that. I figured I didn’t
have anything to lose and if Prairie Creek was half as
good as they were touted as being I would be grateful. As
it turns out Prairie Creek Performance Horses and Transport
was far BETTER than I was led to believe.
John Willhite and his partner Jim are not only honest and
caring professionals but they are outstanding horsemen who
are friendly, responsible and great human and equine communicators.
They go the extra mile for their human clients but what
impressed me even more was the concern and care they give
the horses that they haul. Prairie Creeks rigs are always
clean and perfectly maintained. The bedding is always deep
and fresh, food
and water is always available and they stop to rest the
horses often. The prices quoted for transport are always
reasonable and I would say a BARGAIN for the care and service
that is received. I have used this outstanding transport
company for a number of years now and have recommended them
to scores of people who now use them as well. I cant count
the number if times I have gotten a phone call from a person
I have recommended Prairie
Creek too thanking me again and again for the information
and raving over the wonderful condition the horses arrived
in or how patient and caring John or Jim were in loading
and unloading the horses they never get upset or worried
about the time they might need to spend doing it the "
right and safe" way rather than the " fast"
way. In all truth I wouldn’t entrust my horses or
my clients horses to anyone other than Prairie Creek Transport
so much so that I have included Prairie Creek in my sales
contracts for Old Growth Oak Morgans, when I sell a horse
it is part of the contract that the transporter will be
Prairie Creek to ensure the safest mode of transport to
the new owners home and all horses I buy or have transported
to me is through Prairie Creek. John and Jim are more than
just safe, ethical, professional, and experienced horseman
with the best prices they are in the plainest words "Good
People" I
am more than convinced that Prairie Creek Performance Horses
and Transport are the absolute BEST in Horse Transport out
there.
